UPDATE April 2026

Our resources are no longer open access. If you are not a SSERC member, there are two options:

1. Taking out membership - As well as institutional membership, we now have a range of individual categories at a low cost. (So you could apply for an Individual Chemistry membership
2. Many of the experiments are now available in a series of books in our shop. (see below)

Ten Top Experiments

This is a series of books afailable for purchase as pdf files. Each one picks 10 good experiments that can be used to illustrate a specific area of chemistry.

Each one has detailed instructions, an explanation of the chemistry involved and a model risk assessment.
