Below you can find some data from various experiments carried out at SSERC involving the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide solutions with various catalysts.

Different Catalysts

This first section involves the reaction of hydrogen peroxide with different metal compounds  – first simply seeing the time taken for the foam (produced by detergent) to reach a specific height (50 cm3) and then looking at the relative rate of reaction.

Changing the concentration of potassium iodide

Here is data from some similar experiments but using a solution of potassium iodide so the concentration of catalyst can be varied.
