We are delighted to welcome Kaukab Stewart MSP as our newest SSERC Board of Directors and Trustees member. Kaukab serves at the MSP for the Glasgow Kelvin constituency and is the convenor of the Equalities, Human Rights and Civil Justice Committee within the Scottish Parliament, having previously been Depute Convenor of the Education, Children and Young People Committee.
Kaukab has a strong interest in STEM education, having previously been a primary school teacher in Glasgow and champions equality of access into STEM education, training and employment, and in particular, women and girls into STEM.
