Membership Categories

You may have noticed that (as of April 2026) we have greatly expanded the options for SSERC membership.

The “traditional” SSERC membership is still the same as ever – just select “Normal” from the list.

But we are hoping to attract other members from different user categories as well as other places in the world. So we have set up some other categories:

Group memberships

Corporate – this is the membership category for businesses and most other commercial entities. See here for details.

Third Sector – this is for charities, social enterprises and the like working in the education sector.

International – Slightly different in that this is in effect the same membership as our Normal one but for schools and colleges overseas. See here for details. 

Single memberships

Educator members – This is a free membership that allows access to a few pages only but does have some other benefits. You can find more details here.

Home educator members – (In development) We are aware that there is a small but significant number of learners who do not, for a variety of reasons, attend school and we feel that their educators need assistance too.

Individual Members – these are subject based and will allow the member access to a specific section of the website (eg chemistry). The options are: Biology & Environmental Science, Chemistry, Physics, Technology, Easly Years and Primary and Digital Skills & Computing Science (primary levels

Pricing

 * These are available at 4 different price levels to reflect different levels of prosperity around the world.

Initially, until we get a more granular classification these are 

Africa & South & Central America £10 / £15

South Asia (India Pakistan etc) (£20 / £25

East Asia (China, Japan, Korea etc) £30 / £40

Europe (plus USA, Australia, NZ) (£40 / £50)
