HMNB Clyde is the home of the UK Submarine Fleet, and Babcock’s primary role is to provide operational maintenance to submarines and surface ships, and to manage and operate critical infrastructure and nuclear facilities.

We employ around 1,800 people across Faslane and Coulport, covering a range of skills and outputs, from frontline operations to supporting corporate services.  Our diverse teams provide comprehensive asset management services, fleet engineering, berthing, and radioactive waste processing to keep the naval base running safely and efficiently.
