This activity is taken from the Salters Chemistry Club.
It involves electroplating onto coins (foreign coins if you are concerned about ending up in the Tower for defacing the currency). If you cover the head on the coin with blutack or nail varnish you will end up with a head that is of a different metal from the rest of the coin.
