This course offers a full day of face-to-face professional learning at SSERC in Dunfermline - developed and presented in partnership with Learning through Landscapes.
Aimed at Early Years Practitioners and primary teachers working with early/first level learners - the day will focus on outdoor learning and action on climate change through nature based solutions.
We will engage with a variety of practical activities and resources, all of which can be adapted to your outdoor spaces. The course is aimed at developing knowledge, skills and confidence.
Course Content:

Explore a range of approaches for auditing and developing your existing outdoor space - with a focus on biodiversity and climate change

Engage with the newly developed Learning through Landscapes climate kit and pocket card resources

Experience activities designed to support learners and practitioners to take action in their outdoor spaces, through nature-based solutions

Links to real life contexts - including biodiversity, plants and animals, weather and climate change.
You will receive a range of resources and supportive online materials to take back to your setting to share with learners and colleagues.
