This course will present novel, well-tested approaches to experimental work in National 5 Physics, many of which could be suitable for Assignments as well as general practical learning in class. Delegates will get hands-on and take their own measurements, to highlight some of the common hurdles that pupils may come across. The course will also include an in-person talk and Q&A with Andrew Shield from Qualifications Scotland regarding the assessment and verification of National 5 assignments.

The course will be held at SSERC in Dunfermline. Our SSERC buildings are at 2 Pitreavie Court, Dunfermline, KY11 8UU. SSERC is a short (5-10 minutes) walk from Rosyth railway station and close to the end of the A823(M) spur off Junction 2 of the M90 motorway.
