The Ultimate Make:do & Micro:bit Fusion
Why choose between building and coding when you can do both?
This immersive STEM journey is designed to turn educators and creators into master inventors. By combining the tactile world of Make-do cardboard construction with the digital power of the BBC micro: bit V2, you’ll learn how to breathe life into inanimate objects.
Part 1: Full-Day In-Person @ SSERC Campus
A high-energy, hands-on day split into two sessions:
Part 2: Online sharing event
After approx. 20 weeks of experimentation in your own setting, we come together virtually. This is your stage to share the innovative projects, classroom successes, and "lightbulb moments" you’ve experienced using your loaned kit.
The Inventor’s Toolkit
Every delegate leaves the SSERC campus with a Make-do Invent Kit on a 20-week extended loan (included in the course fee). This ensures you have the tools needed to take forward the knowledge, skills and experiences gained from the day at SSERC straight back to your learners and staff.
