This two-day SSERC programme gives teachers a bank of hands-on, classroom-ready activities that mirror real health-sector practice. Across microbiology (swabbing, plating, infection control and observation), PPE and hand hygiene, medical devices and monitoring demonstrations, diagnostics simulations, medicines modelling (dissolution, diffusion and simple drug-delivery), and basic food chemistry (sugar and fat analysis), it builds confidence to deliver engaging, safe practical work while also strengthening learners’ employability through health careers and CV-focused inputs.
