The Looky Jar: A captivating tool for visual observation.
The Sniffy Bottle: A challenge to identify scents.
The Feely Tub: A tactile mystery box to explore textures and shapes.
By investigating the senses of looking, listening, smelling and touching, we will discuss how to embed core science enquiry skills into play.

This SSERC Meet is designed for teachers and practitioners working with learners at Early and First Levels.
Rationale
This professional learning event is part of a range of STEM professional learning available from the Early Years and Primary Team at SSERC.
You and your colleagues will join us for a twilight session from your own setting as we guide you through the activities remotely online, which are designed to promote knowledge and understanding as well as providing great ideas for practical STEM. Help and advice can be sought during this live online event.

This SSERC Meet comes at no cost to your setting. All we ask is that you and your colleagues attend on the day and complete the register and evaluations, in order that we can improve our professional learning offer.
