The key features of this new professional learning course are 5 online sessions (meets) followed by a 2 day residential course at SSERC.

The online sessions will be hands-on, with participants carrying out instructions under the direction of a live presenter. Resources will be sent to your school before the online sessions to support the activities involved.

Whilst we encourage entire departments to become involved, we are happy to receive applications from individual teachers. Delegates will have the option of participating in all 5 SSERC Meets or 4 SSERC Meets plus a self study pack.

Departments will be asked to carry out a “gap task”, implementing and evaluating some activity, lesson or initiative inspired by the online sessions.

In December, one teacher from a participating department will attend the 2 day residential at SSERC. This will feature experimental workshops and the presentation of the gap task.
