The Royal Society Schools Engagement team is looking for scientists and engineers to support a new programme for 2020 called ‘Tomorrow’s Climate scientists’. To solve global issues relating to climate change there is a need to build future capacity in terms of developing skills in our future scientists. This programme will give students across the UK the opportunity to develop key skills of experimental science, problem solving and data handling as well as allowing them to demonstrate their creativity and have a voice in the direction of scientific research by working alongside established scientists. Schools sometimes find it difficult to reach out to academics or industrial partners, especially those schools in rural areas and we are looking for people who could:

·Support local schools face to face

·Support schools in hard to reach areas virtually via Skype sessions with students and teachers
