Noise cancellation can be demonstrated using the free Audacity package. You will need to prepare a track that has some music combined with an undesirable noise such as a power tool or domestic appliance. The guide refers to one we prepared at SSERC called “Wipeout_bad” but there are instructions on how to create your own.
