This self-study course has wide appeal to all physics teachers; however, it is most suited to those teaching BGE through to Higher.

If your application is successful, we will send you links to video tutorials and online documentation. We will also supply you with the following kit:
  • BeeSpiV compact speed/time unit (you will need 2 AAA batteries)
  • ‘Hot Wheels’ car
  • Short length of Hot Wheels track
These resources have been funded by IoP Scotland.

You will use these resources to learn how to operate the apparatus.  We are asking that you send us details of an experiment you carried out, or a graph you have created before the course endsOnce we have received these details, we will ask you to complete an evaluation.  This course should take no longer than 5 hours to complete.

If you do not complete the above tasks by the course deadline without good reason, you will be asked to return the equipment to SSERC at your own expense.

We have a small supply of resources and places on this course will be limited.
