SSERC invites Science teachers to take part in this 2-day course focusing on practical activities to support BGE Chemistry experiences and outcomes outlined by Education Scotland. This course has been developed to support Science teachers who have no specialist Chemistry background and thus would benefit from some assistance in teaching it.

This course will explore a range of practical activities and techniques to support the delivery of BGE Chemistry so that all science teachers can cover this part of their BGE curriculum confidently and safely.

A programme will be available in due course.

The course will be held at SSERC, Dunfermline with overnight accommodation provided locally for those delegates that live over 50 miles from SSERC.

Local Authority schools and FE colleges will be entitled to receive an ENTHUSE Bursary of £320 per delegate upon completion of the course. This grant is administered through the National STEM Learning Centre.

Course Dates: 14th – 15th March 2023
