Two stand-alone but complementary day courses for practitioners working at Early Level.

Both courses include a range of practical activities that will support learning & teaching at Early Level across CfE Sciences, Technology and Mathematics: Experiences and Outcomes.

Delegates will have the opportunity to carry out practical activities which they can transfer directly to their settings.

In addition, participants will receive equipment and resources to support them in their learning and teaching.

Both courses will take place at SSERC, Dunfermline.

Dates:

  • Friday 30th August 2019, 9:30am – 3:45pm (closing date: Friday 23rd August 2019) and/or
  • Friday 22nd November 2019, 9:30am – 3:45pm (closing date: Friday 8th November 2019)

Cost

The course fee is £60 per course to include lunch and refreshments. Book a place on both courses for £110.

Why Should You Attend?

Each of these courses is a great opportunity for early years teachers/practitioners to engage in exciting STEM activities that can be easily transferred to their schools/settings.

The course will be held at SSERC in Dunfermline. Our SSERC buildings are at 2 Pitreavie Court, Dunfermline, KY11 8UU. SSERC is a short (5-10 minutes) walk from Rosyth railway station and close to the end of the A823(M) spur off Junction 2 of the M90 motorway. Car journey times (approximately): Edinburgh – 30 min; Glasgow – 60 min; Aberdeen – 2.5 hours; Inverness – 3 hours.
